Blitz gallery is based in 400-year-old Valletta townhouse. Four floors of the gallery host exhibitions, creative space, and an art studio.
Blitz specializes in experimental and contemporary arts. It was founded in 2013 and since then it has been functioning as an independent, non-profit space, supporting avant-garde art experiments.
Blitz gallery has contributed to the development of Malta’s contemporary art scene with numerous exhibitions, conferences, workshops and talks.
Christine X Art gallery (Artitude)

If you are interested in exploring Malta from the perspective of art, you would appreciate the concept of Christine X. Here you can find various style paintings by local and foreign artists, who were inspired by this small island in the Mediterranean.
An artist Christine Xuereb has established this gallery in 2004. It was previously called “Artitude”.
Christine decided to move to Ghana in 2017 and the management and ownership of Christine X Art Gallery was taken over by her brother Jonathan.
The collection is constantly refreshed with new works.

Spazju Kreattiv
St James Cavalier, Valletta
Spazju Kreattiv is Malta’s national centre for creativity, which has been open in Valletta in 2000. It is situated at St James Cavalier – a military structure and a part of a larger fortification formation, which had been protecting the main gates to Valletta. It had been designed and built by the knights in the second half of the 16-th century.
Spazju Kreattiv is run by Fondazzjoni KreattivitĂ (official entity safeguarding Malta’s creative sector), which strives to “stimulate the exchange of ideas, build cultural identity and reach out to the community with a boundary-testing programme of exhibitions and projects”. The space is also used to host workshops, events and discussions.
Spazju Kreattiv is a multidisciplinary art space and artistic hub situated in the heart of Valletta and hosting art exhibitions, talks, cinema projects and much more.

St. James Counterguard, Vjal Nelson, Valletta
This gallery is dedicated to Victor Pasmore (1908-1998), a pioneer of British abstract art. It is situated in a gunpowder magazine, which has been converted into a permanent exhibition space.
It became possible thanks to a collaboration between The Victor Pasmore Foundation and The Central Bank of Malta. This gallery exhibits many of Pasmore’s works which have been in Malta and abroad.
Visiting Victor Pasmore gallery is a perfect escape from crowded Valletta. It is almost impossible to find this site by accidence, as it is situated in one of the fortification structures, away from the busy streets of Valletta.
